the Sarasin-bridge, which connects Phuket with the mainland.
In the Phang Nga area, we can admire the views at a giant Chedi, built in the middle of
nowhere.
We relax at the romantic little park Tham Bokkorani, and after lunch, we take a longtail
boat through the mangrove swamps in search for prehistoric cave paintings. We stay
overnight in Krabi town.
Day 2: Krabi-Trang (150 km)
After breakfast, we'll see in what conditions the monks live at the
renowed meditation center of Wat Tham Seua.
Next, we'll enjoy our therapeutic bath at the Klong Thom natural hot
springs. We continue our jeep ride in the direction of Trang, Thailand's cleanest city.
Here, we visit the Roi Chan Phan Wang waterfall and the Jed Yot Mountain with scenic,

In the early morning, we take a boat to Kradan and Muk islands and
explore the Emerald Cave, only accesable by low tide. The 'Cave' is in fact an enchanting
small lagoon, surrounded by towering cliffs. And if we're very lucky, we might spot some
dugongs, a kind of seacow, made the official emblem of the Trang province.
The village of Ban Namuensri is renowed in southern handicraft
circles for producing the intricate and colourful cotton and silk scarves and
tableclothes, only available here.

seafood.
